Agency Engagement Delivery

Version 1.0 · effective 13 July 2026 · owner: Jonny Allum

Trigger: any JonnyAI agency project — brand, website/web app, mobile app, video, paid ads, SEO, social/email, AI automation. Owner: Jonny Allum. Policy anchors: POL-03, POL-05 §7, POL-09 §4.

1. Intake → agreement

  1. Every engagement starts from a written brief (the /brief form or a scoping call written up): goal, audience, deliverables, deadline, budget.
  2. Proposal states: fixed scope + price (or day rate + cap), what's not included, revision rounds (two included is the default), payment terms (deposit before work starts on fixed-scope jobs), and ownership terms (§4). No work before written acceptance — a thumbs-up on the proposal email counts; a verbal "go on then" does not.

2. Delivery rhythm

  1. Kick-off: access collected into the engagement record (POL-04 access register), client-owned accounts preferred from day one (their domain, their hosting, their ad accounts) so offboarding is clean (SOP-10 §2).
  2. Work lands in a client-designated repo or workspace, separated from JonnyAI IP (POL-03 §2).
  3. AI-assisted delivery is the method and the pitch (POL-05 §7): operator reviews everything before the client sees it.
  4. One weekly progress note, however short. Silence is how agency relationships die; the note also creates the paper trail if scope drifts.
  5. Scope change = written mini-quote before doing it. "While you're in there…" is the profit leak; the answer is "happily — here's the price."

3. Launch and handover

  • Web/app launches follow the same discipline as SOP-03 in miniature: checklist, smoke test, launch when you can watch it.
  • Handover pack: credentials (in the client's own manager/hands), licences, a one-page "how to update your own site/content", and the support terms (what's warranty — defects fixed free for 30 days — vs new billable work).

4. Ownership and portfolio defaults

  • Client owns the commissioned deliverables on full payment; JonnyAI retains pre-existing tools, frameworks and know-how (the BizOS/HubSuite/ JAIOS platforms are never assigned as part of agency work).
  • Portfolio/case-study rights are asked for in the proposal, not assumed.
  • Every agency client is a warm BizOS prospect — the cross-sell is offered once, well (SOP-12), never nagged.
